I heard in a movie “Cousins” with Isabella Rossellilni and Ted Danson this very funny and very true quote. “In life you can either make chicken salad or chicken shit”.

Hello,

I am looking for a quote that expresses the value and respect for nature, animals and all human beings regardless of sex, colour or race.

Here a few I like (the first being my favourite)

Albert Schweitzer:
“Until we extend our circle of compassion to include all living things, we will not ourselves find peace!”

Leonardo da Vinci:
“The time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men!”

Ghandi:
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treted!”

Albert Einstein:
“Nothing will benifit human health and increase chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution of a vegetarian diet!”

Hello OCS,
My work is with men who have committed sexual offenses and the challenge is great as you can imagine. I will share a quote with you that I have used in addressing the quality of our speech:

“Profanity is the language of cowards.”

I have seen some results from these offenders in their struggle to become men of integrity.

May God bless you in your challenge of health!

Hi. Fantastic website! Congratulations.
I´m searching for a quote about the companies´ ambition, about the challenge of the workers. I´m the CEO of Avila-Business Center (www.espacoavila.com), a portuguese company, and I would like to use this quote in the reception´s wall.
Could you Help me? Thanks a lot.Carlos

Sorry for the late comment Carlos I have been busy but here I think is a good quote by Mark Twain about good workers…

What work I have done I have done because it has been play. If it had been work I shouldn’t have done it. Who was it who said, “Blessed is the man who has found his work”? Whoever it was he had the right idea in his mind. Mark you, he says his work–not somebody else’s work. The work that is really a man’s own work is play and not work at all. Cursed is the man who has found some other man’s work and cannot lose it. When we talk about the great workers of the world we really mean the great players of the world. The fellows who groan and sweat under the weary load of toil that they bear never can hope to do anything great. How can they when their souls are in a ferment of revolt against the employment of their hands and brains? The product of slavery, intellectual or physical, can never be great.

Mark Twain
